About Me
I am Caitlyn Renee, a singer-songwriter dedicated to the craft of storytelling through music and performance.
My journey began at age three, when I started singing along to artists like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Barbra Streisand. In fifth grade, I wrote my very first song, “Nobody’s Perfect Like You Are to Me,” on the whiteboard during recess and performed it for my class.
By middle school, I was determined to keep writing, and I started dabbling in music production. At 13 or 14, I recorded my next song, “Winner.” A few more songs followed over the years, all of them still unpublished.
I eventually attended music school, where I studied songwriting and music production alongside a rigorous music curriculum, continuing to develop my voice and instrumental abilities as an artist and a storyteller.
Life has gotten pretty busy lately with theatre and performing, but I think it’s finally time to give Caitlyn Renee some published music.
